About this Property
This 60-year old traditional Sumatran house made of “eternal” teak wood is painstakingly renewed by hand without missing a bit of its authenticity.
The declined walls were originally meant to keep the wild tigers away, the floor lifted off the ground was supposed to save food kept indoors and the little path around the house was made especially for guarding spirits of the household.
This unique house is beautifully decorated with rugs, batik cushions and furniture made of recycled wood — a very special holiday accommodation for an adventurous couple.
All the facilities are situated in a next building but are used privately by the tenants of the house. Downstairs toilet and bathroom
